THE 'LOST' YEAR - POST UNI BLUES

Hello everyone,

Today I wanted to write about something which has affected me quite a lot in the last nine months. As some of you may know, I graduated from university in 2018 and have now been out of full-time education since last June, but I still don't feel like it has fully sunk in that that part of my life is over.

3 THINGS TO REMEMBER ON #INTERNTIONALWOMENSDAY

Hello everyone,

Happy International Women's Day 2019! I am absolutely in love with today, and particularly with how positive and uplifting my social feeds are. Every story, post and picture are filled with positive quotes and women unapologetically loving, respecting and praising each other. It's purely magical.

18 THINGS I LEARNED IN 2018

Hi Everyone,

As you are aware, it is the end of 2018 and the first day of 2019! I have been off work for the last week for Christmas and it has been so relaxing. I feel like it has given me a chance to slow down and to reflect on the past year. Its been a pretty great one, with lots and lots of highs with a wonderfully small amount of lows, (which I realise I am so lucky to be able to say). I thought that to finish off the year, I would write a blog post about 18 things I've learnt in 2018.

WHAT AM I PROUD OF SO FAR IN 2018?

Hello Everyone!

I don't know what it is about September, but I always feel like it's a time for me to get my arse into gear and start doing all of the things that I've been meaning to do or just generally start afresh with certain parts of my life. This is probably because no matter how hard I try, I can't stop living by the academic calendar!

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS

Hello everyone,
Today I thought I would write quite a different post today on a topic that is very close to my heart. Some of you may know that I have been with my boyfriend for quite a while now... in fact, it's going to be 5 years in August. WOW! Even that scares me... I'm only 21 as well! It's mad but both Tom and I are as happy as ever in our relationship.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY: THE WOMEN I LOVE AND WHY

Hello everyone!
Today was international women's day and I really wanted to celebrate the women who I think have empowered, inspired and made me happy over the years. I think its so important for women to appreciate each other and lift each other up. Through no real reason, most of the closest people in my life are female, and they have really shaped me into who I am today.

I WANT TO LOVE BLOGGING AGAIN

Hello everyone!

Anyone who has been an active reader of my blog at any point may have noticed that the amount I post on here has decreased dramatically. I literally always used to post every week with new photos and new ideas and would prioritise my blog over so many things. The biggest reason for me not being so into it has definitely got to be uni... I'm in my third year now and that obviously has to be my priority, but I have always found my blog to be a great past time and form of escapism, so I really would like to find a way to get back into it.

GETTING MY MOJO BACK

Hello Everyone!
I hope that you are all doing well. Today I wanted to write about how I'm going about getting a bit more of a "pep in my step" this year. Unfortuneately, just before Christmas, I found myself feeling very uncomfortable about myself, my looks, my personality and my abilities.I found myself constantly worrying about not looking good enough, not being talented enough or having a bit of a rubbish personality. Those that know me, will know that this is pretty rare for me. Usually, and for such a long period of time before Decemeber 2017, I am pretty confident in myself and who I am as a person. I don't normally let things faze me and just go about life as best I can. Obviously, I had my down days too, but last month was one of the first where I just felt awful, low and lacking in energy for an extended period of time (which was actually awful as Christmas is my most favourite time of year).

HOW TO HAVE A GOOD START TO THE DAY

Hello everyone!
Happy 2018, I know we're already 2 weeks in but better late than never. I haven't really set any new years resolutions this year - just a set of goals that I would like to accomplish by the end of the year (I might write a post on this!) ,However, I am trying to focus on keeping up the good habits that I started in 2017 as I was definitely making good progress by the end of the year. One of these is my morning routine habits that I feel set me up for the day in the best way. I've found these really useful so I thought that I would share them with you today!

CAN WE SAVE MEN FROM THEIR NO. 1 KILLER?

Hello everyone! I have a bit of a different blog post for you today. One of my last university assignments for second year was to write a feature article for a magazine. Since this is what I want to be doing for a career when I graduate I was extremely excited for this project and decided to do it on a topic I feel extremely passionate about. Ths assignment gave me so much stress trying to find interviewees and making sure I had all the facts right for such a sensitive topic but I really found it rewarding in the end and wanted to share it with you all - not least because this is a topic that needs to have awareness spread about it.

MY SECOND YEAR AT UNIVERSITY: A ROUND UP

Hello everyone,
It's definitely been a while. I'm so so sad that I've been so bad with my blogging when it was my goal to make this my best year yet. Oh well, it is never too late to turn it around.

Today I wanted to round up my second year at university. And yes, this is the reason that I have been so bad with blogging.

But I love it, and I can't believe its going so quickly. I'm already 2/3 of the way through! It's absolutely crazy and it actually makes me feel quite sad that I only have 1 year left after this!

CELEBRATING FEMINISM

Hello Everyone!

For a few years now, I have identified as a feminist. I started to understand what women's rights and equality were all about and I have become super passionate about the cause. There are so many misconceptions out there (that I for one admit I also used to believe) that totally get the wrong idea about what feminism is. While I'm not going to go into it today, I would love to write a blog post about my thoughts on feminism in the near future, so do let me know what you think.

LIFE UPDATE!

Hello everyone!

I have been a bad blogger. A very, very, very bad blogger.
I'd like to say I have an excuse for my lack of posts, but really, it's just that I've not been feeling like writing recently. I'm really not sure why as it's normally my favorite thing to do in the world! I'm hoping I can get back into it now.

5 GENIUS WAYS TO MAKE THE MOST OF SOCIAL MEDIA

Hello everyone!

It's no secret that social media is pretty much ruling the world right now. Personally I can't remember the last time that I didn't at least scroll through my social medias once in a day. Is that bad? Personally I don't think it is -whilst there are many down sides to this phenomenon (of which I'm not going to go into this blog post) - I think that the upsides are sky high and can create so many opportunities, friendships and skills along the way.

Today, I wanted to break down how social media can be beneficial to YOU by explaining what it's done for me, as a student, as a blogger and in my personal life. Let's begin!

HOW ARE YOUTUBERS AFFECTING SELF ESTEEM?

Hello guys!

The other day I did a major thing - I uploaded a YouTube video. Okay, okay, I know that's not a massive thing for some, but I was super nervous.

ALL OF MY 2016 FAVOURITES

Hello Everyone!

I feel like there are so many blog posts that can be done around the new year, and I really just want to do them all. I apologise if you've seen a lot of these sorts of posts recently, but I have quite a lot to say so didn't really want to skip out on it!

There has been so much that I have loved over the past year and it's going to be hard to get it all into one blog post, so know that if they made it here, I absolutely love these products and they are definitely worth the buy! I also wantend to put a little twist on it by incorperating beauty, fashion and lifestyle into this post rather than just beauty. Enjoy!

MY 2017 GOALS AND AIMS

Hello everyone!

I know that you are probably so bored of reading goals and aims blog posts, however I really wanted to get them down and have them documented on my blog so that I can look back next year and see how well I have done.

I think it's so important to set goals and have something to work towards. I don't like the word 'resolution' because everyone seems to not be able to fulfill them as there's so much pressure. I think that instead of saying I'm going to change this, this and this, I think it's better to decide what you want to achieve and take positive steps to achieving it.

Any way, lets get on with the post!

2016 REVIEW

Hello everyone!

I feel like every body will be saying this, but I can't believe that we are already in the last week of 2016. This year has been absolutely crazy. I feel that he end of the calls for a time to reflect on what has happened and how you can improve yourself for the next year. I don't really set new years resolutions as such, but I do like to set goals to achieve for the next year. This time last year I wrote a post called 'Goals and aims for 2016' and I wanted to have a look at those today, see how I got on and then set my self some new goals for the year.

2 YEARS BLOGGING ANNIVERSARY: A REFLECTION

Hello everyone,

How crazy, I can't believe that 2 years ago I started my blog! It's been an absolute rollercoaster of a ride, but something I never imagined I would fall so head over heels for. Blogging has become a core part of my life and something that I genuinely look forward to doing. I thought that today I would take a little trip down memory lane and have a look at how far I've come in the past two years, and some images from some of my favourite blog posts.

AUTUMN FOREST WALK

Hello everyone!
Today I thought I would do a little update post for you! The other week, my boyfriend came to visit me in Bournemouth for a few days and it was absolutely lovely. We went to the beach, had bubble tea and went on a night out with my uni friends. We also decided to take a little day trip.
