WHAT AM I PROUD OF SO FAR IN 2018?

Hello Everyone!

I don't know what it is about September, but I always feel like it's a time for me to get my arse into gear and start doing all of the things that I've been meaning to do or just generally start afresh with certain parts of my life. This is probably because no matter how hard I try, I can't stop living by the academic calendar!

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS

Hello everyone,
Today I thought I would write quite a different post today on a topic that is very close to my heart. Some of you may know that I have been with my boyfriend for quite a while now... in fact, it's going to be 5 years in August. WOW! Even that scares me... I'm only 21 as well! It's mad but both Tom and I are as happy as ever in our relationship.

A WEEKEND IN RIGA, LATVIA

Hello everyone!

I hope you're doing well and enjoying the weather starting to get a bit nicer... I'm absolutely loving it and it's making me feel so happy, and getting me so excited for summer and holibobs coming up. Last month though, my boyfriend Tom and I needed a bit of a break from the stress of uni work, so we hopped on a plane and took a short break in Riga, Latvia. A lot of people seemed to not know much about the city when I told them where I was going and to be honest, neither did I... but one of my Facebook friends from university is originally from the city and it looked so beautiful from her pictures I thought I would check it out and I'm pleased to say we were so pleasantly surprised. So carry on reading for a travel diary of Riga, Latvia!

WHATS ON MY FACE, CURRENT MAKEUP ROUTINE

Hello everyone!
I came to the realisation the other day that I am really enjoying my makeup routine at the moment, from the products I'm using to how it looks on my face. I'm going for a bit of rose gold/glowy theme at the moment, and I'm really liking how it's turning out. It's definitely one that suits the spring that is trying to come through and I am all for that!

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY: THE WOMEN I LOVE AND WHY

Hello everyone!
Today was international women's day and I really wanted to celebrate the women who I think have empowered, inspired and made me happy over the years. I think its so important for women to appreciate each other and lift each other up. Through no real reason, most of the closest people in my life are female, and they have really shaped me into who I am today.

I WANT TO LOVE BLOGGING AGAIN

Hello everyone!

Anyone who has been an active reader of my blog at any point may have noticed that the amount I post on here has decreased dramatically. I literally always used to post every week with new photos and new ideas and would prioritise my blog over so many things. The biggest reason for me not being so into it has definitely got to be uni... I'm in my third year now and that obviously has to be my priority, but I have always found my blog to be a great past time and form of escapism, so I really would like to find a way to get back into it.

VEGANUARY: MY EXPERIENCE

Hello everyone!

Today I thought that I would share my experiences with Veganuary that I took part in last month. This is something that about 3 years ago, I would never have thought I would have done, however after coming across a lot of bloggers, vloggers, documentaries and my own research, I have seen that there are lots of benefits to becoming Vegan. I won't delve into them now, but I will leave some resources at the end of the post. In August 2016 I tried being vegetarian for a month and actually really loved it, and whilst I hadn't been strict for the last year and a half, I had dramatically decreased my meat in take. After really over eating at Christmas, January was the perfect time to start Veganuary.

GETTING MY MOJO BACK

Hello Everyone!
I hope that you are all doing well. Today I wanted to write about how I'm going about getting a bit more of a "pep in my step" this year. Unfortuneately, just before Christmas, I found myself feeling very uncomfortable about myself, my looks, my personality and my abilities.I found myself constantly worrying about not looking good enough, not being talented enough or having a bit of a rubbish personality. Those that know me, will know that this is pretty rare for me. Usually, and for such a long period of time before Decemeber 2017, I am pretty confident in myself and who I am as a person. I don't normally let things faze me and just go about life as best I can. Obviously, I had my down days too, but last month was one of the first where I just felt awful, low and lacking in energy for an extended period of time (which was actually awful as Christmas is my most favourite time of year).

HOW TO HAVE A GOOD START TO THE DAY

Hello everyone!
Happy 2018, I know we're already 2 weeks in but better late than never. I haven't really set any new years resolutions this year - just a set of goals that I would like to accomplish by the end of the year (I might write a post on this!) ,However, I am trying to focus on keeping up the good habits that I started in 2017 as I was definitely making good progress by the end of the year. One of these is my morning routine habits that I feel set me up for the day in the best way. I've found these really useful so I thought that I would share them with you today!
