Thank you for stumbling across my little corner of the internet, I'm so glad you could join me.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Yasmin and I am 23 years old and I am a graduate from Bournemouth University in 2018 and spent 2019 travelling around on my gap year, in both South East Asia and Europe. I am now working as a marketing assistant and still planning a lot of fun trips to go on in my spare time. I also am obsessed with reading, and love that I can explore different peoples experiences and places through a book.
I started my blog at the end of 2014 when it came to university interviews and being asked to bring a portfolio of work. I realised that I had next to nothing to show for my love of writing and the media, so I decided to start this blog. I was also really keen to start one before, as I love reading beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogs such as Lily Pebbles, The Anna Edit etc, but this was the push I needed to actually start it.
Since then I have not looked back! I absolutely love writing about topics that interest me, taking beautiful photos and using social media to connect with other bloggers and read other blogs. I feel I have learnt so much over the past few years and only want to continue to grow. I love getting inventive with the posts I write and opening up about my feelings about different points in my life.
I am super passionate about all things to do with lifestyle and my blog when it first started was mainly about fashion and beauty. However, as I have gotten older, other topics have started to interest me more such as food, body positivity and travel, meaning that this blog is a real mixed bag at the moment, but I hope that you will enjoy my rambles and it will feel like we're having a good old natter!
