Fashion: spring wishlist

Hello everyone!
I am so excited for summer! Every day at the moment I find myself drifting into daydreams about festivals and holidays and all the clothes which I want to wear while the weather is warmer. Espescially with Coachella happening recently I have been stalking so many celebrities and bloggers to see what their wearing and inspiring myself for my summer wardobe! Here is what I have been loving most:

1) The Bardot Top: I am so happy that these are making their way back into fashion! These gorgeous tops are a classic and one way of making your outfit more dressed up and interesting whilst still being comfortable. I love this one from Miss Selfridge, the ruffles really give it something extra and I think that this would be perfect for a festival, and I would pair it with some denim shorts and a body chain underneath for the cool summer vibe.

2) The Pinafore Dress: If you've ever read any of my previous fashion posts I suspect you will know that I have an undying love for pinafores, so you can only imagine my excitement when Topshop bought out a range in beautiful pastel colours for spring and summer.I am obsessed with this dusky pink shade and think that it would look so cute with a pair of white converse and a white crop top underneath. I would also do my hair in french plaits for an ultra playful vibe.

3) The mid- length skirt: I am absolutely in love with longer skirts at the moment. They are a simple way of updating your wardrobe for a more 'sophisticated' vibe. I can imagine wearing these skirts to a bbq or a pub on sunny evenings. Theyre also perfect for those of you who don't like to get your legs out as they're still cool and light for the warmer days.

Fashion: My first day at uni

This is so scary, but in just over a week, I'm off to Bournemouth University! Right now, I've got so many mixed emotions from excited to nervous to sad to be leaving my friends and family - however I have no doubt that I am going to have the best time whilst I'm there. I don't know about you, but on a potentially stressful day such as my first day, I feel that when I'm wearing a comfortable outfit that looks good and laid back, I feel so much more confident. So here is what I've planned to wear on my first day:

Fashion: My first day at uni

Black and white stripe shirt
£9.01 - choies.com

This is such a classic staple in any girls wardrobe: the black and white is simple and the slouchy design means that I can feel comfortable without worrying about it being tight or that a bloated stomach is getting in the way.

Topshop petite skinny jeans
£42 - topshop.com

My most worn bottoms and the ones I feel are the most flattering for my figure are my black joni jeans from Topshop, so it only seemed right that I should wear them on my moving in day - I find the stretchy material of them so comfortable as well.

River Island genuine leather shoes
£58 - riverisland.com

Brown moccasin style loafers are my all time favorite type of shoe, I feel they so effortlessly make an outfit seem so smart and sophisticated whilst still looking relaxed

Charlotte Russe crochet pouch
£19 - charlotterusse.com

I love this back pack! I think its absolutely adorable, whilst still being practical, as you can just pop it on your back whilst you explore your new city. White is definitely my new favorite colour for a bag.

So are any of you going to uni or starting college this autumn? What are your go to outfits that make you feel comfortable for such an exciting but scary time? Or if you're already at university, what are your tips?

As always, thanks for reading,
Love, Yasmin xxx

Trying to be cool

Trying to be cool

Trying to be cool by loveourfashion featuring high heel boots

I think this sort of outfit is so effortlessly styled, yet there's something about it that give you that instant 'cool hipster girl that lives in Camden' vibe. Now obviously, I do not fall under that category, but this is the sort of outfit I would like to think that I could pull off. I absolutely adore the check dress from Boohoo, as I said in previous posts I am loving shift dresses right now, as the just look so cool. I'm also inn love with this rag and bone fedora and I think the burganday gives a little something extra to the outfit. What definitely makes the look 'cool' though is the chunky heeled boots with the tasselled backpack, absolutely gorgeous!

The Smart Look

Recently, I have been loving making all of my outfits look smart. I am absolutely in love with boyfriend jackets paired with skinny jeans and loafers, as well as shift dresses with Chelsea boots. I love the way that these outfits are both practical and stylish, and look as if so much effort has been put in, when in reality, it's just a few simple pieces put together to make an oh - so delightful outfit.

Spring Wishlist

Okay, so from the weather outside, it still seems like we're a long way off from getting to spring, but I'm finding my self more and more dreaming about what clothes I can wear when the weather starts to warm up. So  here is my spring wish list.

Since I saw these silver loafers by Michael Kors I have not been able to stop thinking about them. Of course I will never be able to afford them, but a girl can dream! I would pair this with a simple black and white outfit and a dusty pink hand bag. I didn't end up jumping on the white jeans bandwagon last year, but I definitely want a pair this year!

Black Cami - £5.85 sheinside.com
White Jeans - £42 nordstrom.com
Silver Loafters - £83 farfetch.com
Baby pink bag - £29 aldoshoes.com
Untitled #25

Plaid shirts are my absolute favourite! I love lazy looks and these are absolutely perfect in my mind. I would love to get a pair of ripped jeans this year (again they're the topshop ones, best jeans in my opinion)

Levi's Denim jacket - £85  coggles.com
Ripped jeans - £44 topshop.com
Plaid shirt - £19 uniqlo.com
Mariella Busby - £74 Clarks

I now absolutely can't wait for the warmer weather to come! What are you looking forward to wearing in the new season?
